In July we covered the wedding of Amira and Ubeyde which took place at the Hilton Brighton Metropole hotel in Brighton.
This was an unusual wedding for us as the couple had gotten married a little earlier in the month and instead were have more of a celebration of their marriage. With a mixture of Arab and Cypriot cultures the day was very exciting and it was great to see how these two cultures came together.
We started off with a few candid photos at home with their family before heading onto Brighton Seafront to take some couple photos.
Wedding Couple Photographs
When we arrived on the seafront we headed towards the Bandstand and took a few photos there with the couple.
From the bandstand we moved along the seafront to some of the graffiti covered boards via some of the traditional Victorian shelters.
Arrival at the Hilton Brighton Metropole hotel
We arrived at the Hilton Brighton Metropole hotel where the bride had arranged for a traditional band to play them in. This has to be one of the most impressive entrances to a wedding venue and the entire hotel seemed to stop to witness their arrival.
Evening events
The evening featured an exchanging of the rings along with a speech from the groom.
Dancing
The main part of the evening revolved around much dancing both in a traditional and formal style as well as more general dancing with many of the guests.
The day was a lovely and lively and it was great to see the different cultures and traditions merging together so well.
Congratulations again to both Amira and Ubeyde on their wedding.
