Highley Manor Wedding Photography
Capturing your story in West Sussex
The setting
A 19th Century Masterpiece in Balcombe.
As a regular Highley Manor wedding photographer for over ten years, I have come to love the unique character of this 19th-century country house. Tucked away in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, it offers a blend of gothic charm and modern elegance that is a dream to document.
With its wonderful mix of classic Sussex stately home along with the stunning grounds, great open spaces outside and wonderful locations inside Highley Manor is appealing to couples from across the country.
The Highley Manor Experience
Expert tips for your wedding day
The Views
The views across to the South Downs from Highley Manor are definitely something that can make for breath-taking wedding portraits. Of course, it is important on your big day to make sure that the house itself features in your photos as well as that dreamy landscape.
The Pavilion
Whilst the pavilion in the gardens is beautiful for your actual ceremony it also creates an incredible backdrop for both couple portraits and group photos. The pavilion can be seen in a whole new light when it comes to night photos under our lights and these photos make for a great way to end your night with us.
The Grand Interior
From the beautiful wooden staircase that almost hits you as you walk in the door to each of the wood panelled rooms, Highley is a masterclass in classic English country house. Whether you drape the staircase in flowers and lanterns or go for a more minimalist approach if up to you!
